Petaluma Hills Farm attends Community Meeting at Petaluma Ghost Hall February 21
March 2, 2018
On Wednesday February 21, we attended a community meeting at the Petaluma Ghost Hall. The meeting included a panel of local leaders - David Rabbitt (District 2 Supervisor), Tennis Wick (Head of Permit Sonoma), Captain Mark Essick and Lieutenant Reuben Martinez (Sheriff’s Department), Tim Richard (Cannabis Program Manager from Sonoma County Economic Development Board) and Heidi Bauer (Petaluma Valley Groundwater Sustainability Advisory Group). It was a very informational gathering of the community and we appreciated the time and effort of both the folks on the panel, as well as attending community members.
We value those that came forward to ask questions and express concerns, and were grateful to have well-informed responses coming from the leaders as they addressed their specific areas of expertise.
While we know this is a sensitive and delicate subject, we also appreciated that the panel continued to move the conversation back to the facts, which we believe is the direction the community needs in truly understanding the cannabis business in Sonoma County.
