Maintaining the rural and open nature of our community and farm is very important to the Petaluma Hills Farm team.
Both cultivation sites at Petaluma Hills Farm will be located where agricultural buildings currently break up the open views across the land. In using these pre-existing locations, we are able to blend the new use of the farm into the views the neighborhood has enjoyed over the years.
The Sonoma County Cannabis Ordinance requires that all cultivation sites be secure and screened from view. PHF has taken a three-layered combined approach of screening and security to meet the requirements of the ordinance.
8’ fence immediately surrounding the cultivation site.
Native rose bushes will surround this inner fence to beautify and break up view of the fence line itself.
The third layer of screening will be native and non-native landscaping of trees and shrubs that will further soften the fence line and cultivation site.
